Maca Root – for Energy, Vitality, Libido

Every area on our planet seems to offer at least one regional plant that stands out in its ability to enhance vitality and energy: From the Orient, we have Ginseng; from India, there is Ashwagandha; and from Siberia, we have Rhodiola ("Arctic Rose")...

And from the high Andes of South America, there is Maca. Maca is truly amazing!

Maca is a root vegetable cultivated by the indigenous peoples of Bolivia and Peru since pre-Incan times. It flourishes in conditions where few other plants can survive, at altitudes above 14,000 feet and in extremes of weather. This endurance may help explain its potent healing and energizing properties.

One of Maca's most important applications is as a hormonal balancer; Maca strengthens the libido in both men and women, can increase stamina and endurance, and may improve fertility. It is also very beneficial for women during menopause.

Maca can be used everyday as a "tonic" to strengthen and fortify the entire system, and to enhance overall energy and vitality.
